Armwives

I have been watching a show called Amrywives. It is the story about four women and one man. Their spouses are in the Army. It gives good insight into what they realy have to face. It is a great show and very intenseThis show helps me because I have friends who are Army wives and even though the show is not perfect it still give me insight into what their lives are and can be. A life where your husband can be deploied at any time with as little as five min. notice if that. There is a section in the army where they don't even get to tell their family that they are leaving the just leave and you find out when your husband does not come home. You have no idea where they are or when the are coming home. I personally appreciate all that the military does to protect us here and to their families who sacrifice so much. The next season starts on Sunday. It is on every Sunday at 10pm on lifetime.

Movie Reviews

Any one who knows me knows that I love to watch movie. So I have decided to let you know what movies I have seen and if they are worth it.

The Chronicles of Narnia -Prince Caspian
This was a great movie except it had little things that bothered me. For example I don't remember the prince and Susan having a thing for each other. Other wise I thought it was well done.

Indian Jones- The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
This movie surprised me. It was funnier then I thought it would be. It was well done and pretty clean. It did have some gruesome violence in the end but other wise it was a good movie.

Get Smart-

Dan and I got to see this film before it was out. This film was funny and entertaining. There is some bad words and at the end there is a spot where Maxwell Smart reveals a little to much. But in the who I thought it was well worth seeing at least once.

That is all I have seen recently.

Being Pregnant

I found out I was pregnant in March. It was a fluke. I could not sleep and so I got up at about midnight to go to the bathroom. I thought hey I should take a pregnancy test it will probably come out negative any ways. Boy was I surprised when two min. later it came out positive. I was so excited that I forgot that Dan had to work at 5 the next morning so I rushed into the room. I said Dan wake up. He sat straight up and asked if any thing was wrong. I said no and handed him the test. He looked at it and then looked at me. He was so tired that he just told me that he was excited and that he wanted to go back to bed because he had to be up early. So now I am four months pregnant and doing great. I have had morning sickness for about two weeks when I was eight weeks but since then no sickness unless I eat something that is to hard to digest. We found out last week that we are having a girl and we are thrilled especially Dan. He has always wanted a girl. We had a bet and he is glade that he won. I will keep you updated on any more info.

How we meet

The First Date

Daniel and I meet on February 10, 2006. My sister had set me up on a blind date for an institute Valentines day dance. When we first meet I thought he looked really old. He apparently thought I looked really young. I asked him how old he was and he said 27. My first thought was holy cow he is older then my older brother. He then asked me my age and I told him 19. I did not think that any thing would come of this because of the age difference. Well was I wrong. On our first date at the dance I got to dance with him once because every one else wanted to dance with him. So the last dance we danced together and he did not let go of my hand. We then went to a friends house and played game. I didn't get home until 2 am. The following week I had been sick and got a phone call from him. That shocked me. He asked me if I wanted to go out with him and double with his friend. I told him that I had been sick and did not know how I would feel. He said if I changed my mind then to give him a call. I then called my friend Katie and told her. She told me to call him back this second and tell him I would go because she was going to be part of the other couple to go. So I did. From then on we went out every day that weekend.
